Why we started
SaltLight started in the backyard — literally. Our founder set out to trick out his own outdoor space with landscape lighting, sound, and LED pool water features like laminar jets, then built a company to do the same for others.
Harbor came from a different frustration. As a board member of a Gulf Coast condominium community, our founder watched daily life at the property — guest check-ins, parking, security — run on paper logs, guesswork, and near-impossible guest log searches. SaltLight is what grew from both moments: three connected companies, each built to solve a different part of everyday life, with technology designed to be lived with — not fought.

Harbor is the operating system behind the front desk at a Gulf-front condo property — replacing paper check-in binders and radio calls to security with an instant, digital lookup.
Harbor runs privately for the property's own staff and guests, so the live system isn't open to the public — this is the clearest look at what it does without stepping into it yourself.
